Not only Cape Town can do this! Joburg is catching up.
I find it very exciting to observe the changes and new developments in Johannesburg. Recently it feels like Joburg is starting to realise that vineyards and a beautiful coastline are not a prerequisite for inventing spaces and creating markets with delicious food and lots of atmosphere.
Market on Main is such a spot. It was born on 23 January 2011 and is located at Arts on Main in Fox Street. It is held every Sunday from 10 to 3.
Jozi’s premier food and design market is aiming at creating a community and cultural hub where locals can shop, eat and hang out and creating a platform to showcase the best the food and design industry of the region has to offer.
“I was shot in Joburg” is a wonderful business venture which was established to provide a platform for former street kids who received photography training through the iwasshot Foundation [NPO] to apply their newly developed skills and generate an income!
Fine & Raw’s mission is to save the world through silliness and chocolate!
It is a new, vibey market with lots of delicious food! Don’t miss it and make sure you come hungry! From coffees, to breakfast to scruptious lunches including some ethnic foods you will be able to eat your heart out!
