My dad gave me this camera when I was seven. I’ve been taking pictures ever since then.

I was born in Mannheim, Germany where I grew up under the French influence of my dad and the German influence of my mom. I studied tourism and eventually, I ended up in Africa where I worked in Namibia and Botswana on mobile safaris for a few years. Starved of civilization, I moved to Johannesburg, South Africa where I have been working as a professional photographer since 2006.
As a professional photographer, personal projects feed my passion. This blog expands my craft and what lies beyond awesome clients and exciting briefs.
I inherited my love for photography from my dad and my love for life from my mom. This blog honours my parents and these loves that they passed on to me.
Because I love photography.
