In last month’s episode of SOOC, we introduced the film simulation recipe Kodak Vision3 250D as our “Recipe of the Month” and shared a few interesting snippets on the background of the actual film. Click the link below to watch a short clip from the show:
I find the fact that some recent main stream Hollywood blockbusters and Oscar-nominated movies are produced with this very analog film very exciting. For a movie addict like me, having the opportunity to emulate this particular cinematic look in my photographs is very special.
By now I have shot with the recipe on a number of occasions. I absolutely love how it performs on sunny days and how it turns landscapes with blue skies in particular into gorgeous-looking photographs in camera and gives them a certain cinematic look.
Kodak Vision3 250D doesn’t only prettify blue skies though, it also does magic on greens, yellows and reds:
Ritchie and I have received submissions from viewers all around the world, who have spent the last month shooting with this recipe. We will showcase them in tomorrow’s epsiode and discuss some of our favourites during the show.
Join us and see for yourself what other people have created and, who knows, we might just inspire you to try it yourself (if you haven’t fallen in love with the recipe already)! And if you have any questions about shooting straight out of camera or film simulations recipes, the live show is the best opportunity for you to get your answers!
So then, what are you waiting for? Follow the link below and set the reminder now! And while you’re there, why not subscribe to my channel so you don’t miss out on future episodes!
It’s settled then? Fantastic! See you tomorrow!!!

May 13, 2022 at 7:53 amIt was a great show yesterday! I especially liked that you did not show the pictures of the individual photographers in one block but mixed them with the other photographers!
