I had an incredible encounter with this giraffe who was so curious that she kept on coming closer and closer to me (crouched down on the other side of the fence) until she bowed down like this and stared me down ☺️

My awesome husband spoiled me with a slick and minimalist looking #haoge #lenshood and the most beautiful #ocean themed #thumbgrip and shutter button kit from #Neewer which will be a constant reminder of our amazing trip around the coastal regions of the #WesternCape of #SouthAfrica ❤️

I love the new look and feel of my camera. The lens hood offers great protection for the lens so it’s much easier to grab and pack my camera into my little shoulder bag. The thumbgrip is a very subtle addition and makes handling the camera with one hand a breeze. I was a little apprehensive at first because I thought it might make the camera more bulky but it really doesn’t. It’s perfect and the difference in handling the camera is profound.

I can definitely recommend both of these additions to every X100 shooter!

🌅West Coast Sunset PROVIA Style 🛶

Lucky me is currently in the beautiful fishing village of Paternoster on the West Coast of South Africa.

I just went for a walk on the beach and captured the sunset in PROVIA with Shadows, Highlights and Color -1

The light was lovely and soft with pretty colours. But don’t be fooled. This part of the coast can be quite cold even in summer (the water is freezing) and the moment the sun sets temperatures drop quickly. You might notice that the images lean towards the blues and the temperatures are the reason for that. Regardless, I do enjoy these results.
